I was going on a walk with my dog looking for some inspiration for my landscape photos and I saw these purple flowers in a random spot, there was no other flowers around them, everything else was grass and leaves. These flowers stuck out because they were the only pop of color anywhere, right now everything is yellow, green and brown. I stopped and walked over to the flowers to take some pictures of them, I got different angles and tried to capture one close up and one farther away so you could see the area they were in. I am trying to convey a message of there is always light at the end of the tunnel, everything around these flowers was dead and lifeless and there they were bright and standing tall.

Also during my walk with my dog, I saw these massive trees, still with green leaves but beginning to change to yellow. They were so tall and grand and when I looked up the branches intertwined with each other, cutting up the blue sky behind it. I thought it looked beautiful so I took a couple of photos, the first photo shows the scale of the tree and the second photo shows how they were cutting up the sky with their branches. Through these photos I am trying to convey calmness, when I saw these I felt at ease and peaceful, I just stood there and starred at how amazing and untouched these trees were.

For these photos I wanted to try something different, so I took them at night time when it was pitch black outside. I thought that because these flowers are bright white and pink they would create a cool contrast with the dark black background. I went into my backyard late at night and took multiple photos, I picked these two because I loved the pop of color and the green petals looked so pretty. I was hoping to convey, through these photos, to be different and try something outside the box, taking photos of flowers at night versus in the day with a pretty bright blue sky is out of the ordinary and a little bit different, but it worked and the photos turned out really cool.

Outside of my grandmas house she has these thick and tall trees, I was at her house and noticed how they were changing colors and it made me think about how fast Fall is coming. I love how some leaves are green while others are fully yellow and orange or both. It was difficult trying to take pictures of the trees without getting houses, cars, sidewalks, or road signs in the background but finally I did it. I took several photos, trying to capture different angles and vantage points and picked these two as my favorite. I think these demonstrate change and seasons changing and times changing.

One morning as I was driving to school, I was stopped at a red light and wasn't really paying attention to the world outside my car. The light was taking really long and I was getting frustrated, as I was looking around I saw the sky, at first I thought to myself, wow that's really blue but after staring at it and examining it for a longer time I noticed how the sky was ombre. I immediately took out my phone, now hoping the light would stay red, and took some pictures of the sky and trees. These photos show how when you pay more attention to something and really examine it's detail you can see the beauty of something that may at first appear ordinary.
